In the process, she lost her car, her house and as a citizen, she relies on food stamp from government to survive.

As a typical African, Chidinma believes that someone in Nigeria has sworn that she will never make progress even though she is far away from home. “If it is possible they will make sure that I am deported to Nige­ria. My greatest luck is that I am already a US citizen. In this confused country, you need to attach yourself to a good prophet. There are also demons of different kinds in this country,” she said.

I’m popularly called Adasounds or Kejo Queen. I hail from Enugu State and I had a normal childhood. I’ve spent most of my life in the East, travelled outside the country and now I’m in Lagos.

At the age of 16, Lukman Mohammed (not real name) said that he was lured into be­coming a member of Black Axe Confra­ternity. An unholy union which turned him into a serial killer. He was said to have done exceptionally well and rose in ranks to become the Chief Protocol Officer of the dreaded cult group in Nigeria.

His exploits were more in the North especially Abuja where he confessed to have been a part of a killer gang that had assassinated a lot of persons at the instance of their sponsors who are mostly politicians. He also claimed to have participated in several big robberies across the country especially in Kaduna. It took divine intervention when he at­tended a church programme at The Lord Chosen Charismatic Ministry recently to repent.

If there is anything in recent time that has brought the Igbo race together to speak with one voice, it is the relocation of Boko Haram detainees to Ekwuluobia prison in Aguata, Anambra state.

For the Igbo, it is a ploy to extend the on going insurgency in the North, particularly, the Northeast, to the Southeast.

It started as a rumour about two weeks ago, that the federal government was transferring about 47 Boko Haram detainees to Anambra. Within days, the rumour gained legitimacy, and since then, no day has passed in Anambra and other southeast sates, without one form of demonstration by various formal and informal groups.
